What You Need to Know About Stage 6
Can you believe it? Today marks your sixth day on the Camino de Santiago – you’re almost a week into your pilgrimage!
Remember when 21 kilometers might have seemed intimidating during your planning phase? Well, by now you’ve probably realized that distances like this feel totally manageable. Your body has adapted, you’ve found your walking pace, and those feet of yours are getting tougher.
Pro tip: The key to keeping your feet happy is treating them right – before and after walking. If you’ve been taking care of them properly (maybe even using some good foot cream), you’ll be cruising through today’s stage.
Today’s walk on The French Way isn’t the most spectacular, but it’s definitely scenic with lots of beautiful nature surrounding you. You’ll leave Estella (known for its excellent food – hopefully you got to enjoy some!) and arrive in Los Arcos after about 5 hours of peaceful walking.
It’s one of those chill days where you can really zone out, chat with fellow pilgrims, and just enjoy being on the Camino.
