Exciting news: The next big highlight is getting close! Tomorrow you’ll reach León, one of the major cities on The French Way. But first, you’ll rest up tonight in the cute little town of Mansilla de las Mulas.
Along the way, you’ll pass through Reliegos, which some pilgrims choose as their overnight stop if they want to break up the distance differently.
Fun fact: The name „Mansilla de las Mulas“ literally means „Mansilla of the Mules“ – mules were super important for transport here back in the day. Just another reminder of the deep history you’re walking through on the Camino Francés!
You’re in that sweet spot now where you’ve got your Camino legs, you know the rhythm, and each day brings you closer to Santiago. The end is in sight, but there’s still plenty of beautiful walking ahead!
